Hello, it is with a heavy heart that I come to share our story. My beautiful 41-year-old daughter is going through a very hard time. She has been in hospitals for the past 3 months. Her liver is failing due to malnutrition. This condition was brought on gradually over 8 years of nutritional malabsorption caused as a result of gastric bypass surgery. She chose the path of that surgery due to infertility and painful PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) symptoms. While the surgery gave us our two beautiful grandchildren, it may also rob us of our girl. We do not know what her future holds.

But her young family is suffering great financial hardship due to the lengthy hospital stay and uncertain future. You see, she has two small children, ages 5 and 3. Her husband is doing all he can to hold the family together while continuing to work. The loss of her income has compounded the situation.

We anticipate she will need a transplant at some point, but she must regain some strength as she currently is unable to walk or use her hands. Our family is pooling all of our resources, but we are asking for any help you can give to help this family get through one of the toughest things they have ever faced.
