Hello, my name is Richard Williams, I am a 32 soon to be 33 year old husband, pastor and father of 3 beautiful children; Caleb Richard, Jenna-Grace and Johnson Parker Williams. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure. I’m current on peritoneal dialysis (home dialysis) this procedure for me is 11hrs per day. To get a small respite from the tedious day to day and having a new baby at home, I’m temporarily doing in center hemodialysis which is 4hrs 3 days a week. I am currently on the waiting list to receive a kidney from MUSC. I have been waiting now for a year and 1/2.  I have just gotten news that I have been approved to be evaluated at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL which will increase my chances of getting a kidney. I have not worked a 9-5 in almost 2 years and I need the help of my friends to make the trip to Jacksonville happen.

This Go Fund Me page will help tremendously with my travel and the 5-7 mandatory  stay in Jacksonville, FL. This page is NOT FOR MEDICAL BILLS associated with transplant. Once I have gotten notice about a transplant I will create another go fund me page or extend this one. The medical bills and  drugs are very expensive and it will cost to remain close to the hospital for about 2 weeks after surgery. If you are unable to help now please consider that I’ll need help later too. Insurance does not cover everything. Please feel free to share this with your  Family & Friends.
