Hi, my name is Haud, a french woman, currently volunteering in a local Malawaian NGO named SAPOF Save The Poor Foundation, located in Blantyre, South Malawi.

I am raising money for Alice Chiwaya, the owner of SAPOF, and I want to give it in hands before my departure, foreseen on 25th of March 2024.

The funds will be used to pay 2024 costs of existing education program "KEEP 4 MEG" Keep girls in school For More Educated Girls & associated structural costs.

This program helps 60 vulnerable girls, including 6 single mothers, to stay at school, mainly at MPAPA primary school in Blantyre, Malawi.

The funds raised will be used as follows:

- notebooks, pens & uniforms: 750 euros

- nursery fees & babies groceries: 750 euros

- transport & awareness sessions for SAPOF volunteers: 500 euros

- structural costs: 500 euros

I am particularly moved by Alice passion and motivation to run her programs despite low resources and very few funding, but also by SAPOF 100% volunteer 5 people team that dedicate their efforts to support vulnerable children, elderly, marginalized people.

I have chosen to support in particular the KEEP 4 MEG program as I am really concerned with girls and women harsh conditions of life in Southern Africa. Basic education and literacy is the first step towards empowerment and to fight against child marriages and gender violence, that is still very common in this area of Africa.
