The big announcement is: I've been selected for a Performers Without Borders Tour of Nicaragua, 2018!
The tour brings together circus performers from across the globe who create and tour a show across Nicaragua, teaching workshops with children along the way.
This crowdfund is an opportunity for people to support my participation in the 3-month volunteer project, enabling me to share joy, passion and a love of circus. I follow in the footsteps of incredible circus artists who have created over 10 years of Performers Without Borders tours.
I'm working extremely hard to the deadline of December, taking as much work as possible in the lead up to this global performance and teaching tour. Many large costs have to be paid upfront within the next month. I am asking the community for financial support, and in return, a promise of creating something special for children overseas, as well as video updates where you get to follow my journey!
In the past 5 years I've worked hard on my skills, across hula hooping, theatre and clowning, and magic. You may have seen some of my journey online. Every step of the way, I have been blown away by the generosity and the warmth of support from people all across the globe. Today, I encourage you to contribute to this crowdfund for my global tour, where you have my guarantee I'll make you smile in an upcoming meeting or video.
I'll also be taking over a bunch of extra circus toys to donate to children along the way. Provided I obtain extra baggage, I see this as a beautiful way to leave a lasting gift.
For the second leg of the tour, I will have the opportunity to teach at several European conventions before my journey home.
The magnitude and length of this 6-month trip is thrilling. It is the longest I will have ever been away from home, and I can't wait to experience the challenge that will rise for me. Without your support this will be a struggle. With your support, I am humbly grateful, eternally thankful, and committed to serving the community with integrity.
