Heenie Family Fundraiser after Father’s Death

September 24th, 2020, Ray Heenie, a local husband and father in our Community died suddenly after losing his battle with depression. Ray was a dedicated, loving husband, a father, son, brother and friend to many.
He was married to Marisol Heenie with two children, Lauren and Ray Heenie. He worked extremely hard to support his family as a pilot, doing everything he could to create the best life for his wife and children.
Along with all of the emotional pain and stress his family now has, a financial burden has also hit the family hard after his passing, due to the fact that Ray supplied a major amount of income for the family. We are trying to raise money for Marisol and her children to help with everything and anything they could possibly need, especially medical expenses and educational needs for the children , since their fathers death at the start of the school year has put a huge impact of their schooling . Also, little Ray has a seizure disorder which became much worse after his fathers death. Additionally, the family has lost their health insurance because he was also the primary insurance carrier for the family. As a community, we want to ease the stress on the family and come together to help them.
In these times of loss and sadness, it is important to see family, friends, and the whole community come together to help and support families in mourning, especially with the pandemic as a nontypical time when we cannot physically be together.
Depression and suicide tore this family apart and left so much pain and questions which they will never have the answers to. But, the kids are the ones who are suffering the most. They spend their holidays and birthdays without their father, and due to the Coronavirus they have minimal distractions to help them get their minds off of everything that happened. They will be grateful and thankful for any support you may be able to provide. Anything will help, no matter the size of donation. We also ask you to keep their family in your thoughts and prayers.
