Ashby 20 2020 - The Heartwize Runners team of Mark, Ruth, Joanna, Julie, Amanda and Hannah are preparing to tackle the very challenging Ashby 20 mile road race. Please sponsor us to raise vital funds to allow Heartwize to continue their amazing work teaching lifesaving CPR and defibrillator skills across the community.
The team is lead by inspirational captain Mark Hawthorne who survived a sudden cardiac arrest in a cross country race in 2016, thanks to the CPR skills of the runners around him in the race. It was an emotional day last year when Mark crossed the Ashby 20 finish line arm in arm with Ruth, who was one of those runners who helped to resuscitate him on that fateful day. CPR and defibrillator skills are easy and life saving! Please donate to help us spread these skills, we are very grateful for any support. If the runner ahead of you had a cardiac arrest would you be Heartwize? Get in touch!
