Rally for Ronin

Little Ronin Summers was born on October 4th to Kaitlyn and Steven Summers (Centralia Police Officer). Ronin was born with a heart defect and was quickly transferred to the Children’s Hospital in Portland where he is being cared for by some of the best doctors in the world. 
I will attempt to summerize the defects to Ronin’s heart. Ronin’s aorta did not fully develop and is clamped shut due to how narrow it is. He was also born with a hole in one of his heart walls and one of the lines that runs oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart grew and connected to the right atrium. 
Ronin went in for surgery today, October 9th and it is expected to last all day. The doctors are hoping to fix Ronin’s heart using cadaver parts. 
The length of recovery is unknown at this time but will it will be an extended recovery! They are hoping to stay at the Ronald McDonald House, located at the hospital so they can be close to Ronin during recovery. The Summers have asked for no help; however I have no doubt that they’d be the first to help others in the same or similar situation.
