HeadShave for Palestinian Medical Aid

Hi, we are Tamimi and Nimir. We are going to shave our heads to help fundraise money for Palestine.

Tamimi: My name is Ahmed Tamimi and I was born and raised in West Bank, Palestine. Palestine is my passion in life, ever since I was child, I have been defending and advocating for Palestine and the suffering my people endure. My family, friends and relatives all live in Palestine and are experiencing the horrible things that are happening to my beloved home. With the current genocide happening in Gaza, Palestine, I have never been more passionate about being Palestine, I will always represent Palestine and what it stands for and will always advocate for the millions of people who are being oppressed everyday, for the women and children of Gaza that are under constant bombing by the viscous enemy. I will be shaving my head bald as a sign of protest against the atrocities my people experience and to help raise money to support Humanatarian Aid in Gaza. Nimir: My name is Nimir Mostafa and I am a Palestinian refugee born and living in Lebanon. My grandfather was forcefully banished from palestine in 1948 and died hoping to return one day. Knowing what my grandparents had to live through, Palestine and the Palestinian people became both things that I have held dear in my heart ever since I was little, growing up I have always read and watched all the oppression my people suffered all these years, My heart filled with sarrowness and desperation to see my people being oppressed and eradicated with the whole world turning a blind eye and especially with the recent continuing genocide on Gaza and Lebanon, my sarrowness only increased. I am shaving my head to be able to do the bare minimum for my people with being hundred of kilometers away and object and challenge the horrifying experiences that the people of Gaza live through everyday.
