A Stroke is no Joke!
Donation protected
I've been married to my college sweetheart for 31 years. Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, going through chemo therapy and radiation. While I was in treatment, my husband Terrence had his first stroke. This stroke left his right side paralyzed. Therapy helped and he uses a wheelchair and walker. Since that time he has had 2 additional strokes. The most recent one was 2 weeks ago, where he lost the ability to speak so we can understand him and more problems with his right side. We have had many financial set backs because of this time in our lives. Hospitals, ICUs, doctor appointments, ambulance transportations, therapies for speech, physical and occupational therapies, and equipment for the house. In June, he is scheduled to have a device placed in his heart so that these reoccurring strokes will not continue to happen. We have depleted all of our resources. Your donation will be greatly appreciated.
