OUR STORY AND OUR MISSION
Hays Latino United (HLU) is a community organization formed by Dr. Michelle Cohen, DM with the help of other partners in the Hays community. The formation of Hays Latinos United is a direct response to the racial disparities of the Latino community and other people of color which emerged with the on-set of COVID-19.
The organization provides free PPE, Water, COVID testing and COVID vaccine registration assistance with the assistance of other organization through collaboration efforts. The platform of the organization focuses on four initiatives, Education, Wellness, Prevention and Access.
Our ultimate goal is to become of 501(3c) non-profit so we can apply for grants that will support our efforts. With you contributions, we can achieve this. Your contributions will also assist in purchasing logistical materials we often need in these events. Thank you for Donating!!!! HLU
