Haxton (Alissa & Matt) Roskind

Haxton was a Christmas blessing born December 24, 2022. He was diagnosed with CKD - Chronic Kidney Disease at 1 month old and it has progressed to Stage 5 CKD. Unless we see a miracle, he will need more and more care as time progresses leading up to a kidney transplant. His mom, Alissa, has had to resign from her full-time job to ensure he gets the care that he needs.

In addition to CKD and the many symptoms and challenges that accompany it, Haxton was recently found to have a kink in his aorta and will have heart surgery at just 3.5 months old.
