Hi my name is Sarah, I'm raising money to help with funeral/creamation costs for our beloved Poppa, Harvey Sattler. He died 9/19/23 @ 9:00am. The absolute most amazing, kind, loving man I've ever met. Harvey was a Dad or Poppa to anyone in need of a father figure. Pops unfortunately had a lot of health conditions that lead to his death. He was suffering and in so much pain the last two days. I can say that he is no longer suffering or in pain. He asked Mike and I to have him cremated so we would like to do that for him. We also like to have a memorial service for everyone who loves him to attend. I know that money is tight for everyone but if you understandbly can't donate, please say a prayer for our family who is painfully grieving the loss of our Poppa. We are still trying to figure everything out with the funeral home so we do not have a date set for anything yet. I will update this post with more info as it comes together. He leaves behind a huge loving family that loved more than words are able to describe. May his soul rest in peace.

9/26/23 UPDATE: Today Michael and I went to the funeral home . We were told the MINIMUM cost for creamation, least expensive urn, plus fees for death certificate, filing fees, ect... is roughly $1500.00. We were given the referral to the VA at Tahoma cemetery in Kent, WA. They will call us to set up dates and times for his funeral service. I want to add that we are unbelievably greatful for every donation. We could not of do any of this with out everyone's support and donations. Pops was a very loved man, and it truly shows. We are so grateful for everyone who has prayed, sent condolences, made donations, and checked in on us on a regular basis. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I will continue to update this as information comes along. We still are planning a celebration of life after his funeral service. We just won't know dates and times until we speak with the VA. We are still accepting donations for his celebration of life and anything other expense that may come up during this process. Mike and I are extremely grateful for everyone.
