Harrsion's physio fund

Hi, my name is Ben,
I'm going to run the Potters 'Arf on the 12th June 2022, to raise money for my friends little lad, Harrison. He's an 8 year old boy with cerebral palsy. He was born prematurely and suffered a severe bleed on the brain. He was on life support and his condition was touch and go for the first days of his life. Harrison never met the typical milestones that you’d expect and he was diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy at 9 months.

In 2017 we set up a fundraising page for Harrison’s SDR surgery and aftercare which was not available through the NHS.
Harrison had his surgery and has been working hard since with his private physiotherapy team to reach his full potential. He had made amazing progress with Independent sitting, kneeling and had started to walk in his walker.

Unfortunately, over the last few years there has been a major set back. Harrison’s hips have gradually become subluxed over time. His overly tight muscles have caused the hip to be forced out of the socket.
8 weeks ago Harrison underwent major surgery for his hips and had his femur bones shortened. He has been in broomstick casts and suffered unimaginable pain.
He will require intensive therapy to regain the strength he had worked so hard to build since his SDR surgery. Again, he will only be entitled to a limited amount of NHS physiotherapy input. It just won’t be enough.

All the money raised from the SDR fundraising has now depleted, I am reaching out to help get Harrison therapy he needs in order to live his life to the absolute fullest. Please help to Harrison back up on to his feet and smiling again.

Thank you for your support.x
