Did you know the “largest furniture factory in the world” stood in Tottenham Hale, north London? Harris Lebus: A Romance with the Furniture Trade is a much anticipated book. Using testimonies and reminiscences from those who were there, the reader is somehow drawn into the drama as if experienced in real time. Today, the former factory site is home to a community of residents. Proactively working for the residents of Ferry Lane estate, N17, is a residents association - Ferry Lane Action Group (FLAG). After publication of the book on 31st March 2020, and once costs are covered, proceeds will be diverted to enable FLAG to provide activities for around 2,000 residents in our community. Harris Lebus: A Romance with the Furniture Trade has an RRP of £19.99. For donations of £30 or more you can expect a copy, signed by the author. £100 will secure a limited edition, not for sale, hardback copy, also signed by the author. For corporate businesses pledging £500 or more we can discuss placing your company logo on the book as a major part sponsor. And of course there are the signed copies by the author.
