Hello, my name is Carol Bristow. I am here to try and get help for my husband, Thomas Bristow. He is an army veteran, hardworking, and an amazing father and grandfather, "Pepaw."

He was recently admitted into the hospital for Ludwig's Angina, a life-threatening infection due to an abscess in his teeth. Unfortunately, we have not been able to afford getting his teeth removed and the dentures he desperately needs. He is in constant pain yet still works 40+ hours a week. He also is 90% service-connected disabled through the VA, but they won't cover dental until he is 100%, and that would mean giving up and not working anymore, and for him, that's not something he is ready to do.

At first, when I asked him if I could start a GoFundMe, he refused and said it's for people worse off than me, but that was before he came close to losing his life because of his teeth. He is not one to ask for help or take handouts and still doesn't feel right doing this, but he wants to live for his family.

He is the best husband, father, and Pepaw anyone could ask for, and honestly, he deserves to get this taken care of. I pray that you can find it in your hearts to help him out or even just sharing this with others would be greatly appreciated. God bless you all.
