Help Prepare HardtHaven for Ebola

Tax deductible
Right now Ghana remains Ebola free, but as Ebola burns across West Africa the danger of it reaching Ghana remains ever present. We want to purchase basic Personal Protective Equipment for the home, staff, and sponsored families. We will be purchasing gloves, masks, rubber boots, rubber aprons, buckets, bleach, plastic sheeting, and oral rehydration salts- equipment which would be useful in any outbreak, not just Ebola. We want to have enough on hand to protect the children in the home, our staff and their families, and the children and families we sponsor in the event the hospitals are overrun, which is what has happened in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea.

The staff and older children of HardtHaven are also helping educate Kpando and the local community about Ebola and infection prevention methods. Money raised will also help with supplies for our community outreach.

Donations made through both GoFundMe and our website, www.hardthaven.org ARE tax deductible. If you donate through our website you can earmark it for our Ebola Preparedness Campaign. The direct link to our donation page is http://www.hardthaven.org/help/donations.html

Please consider donating to this cause! And while you are on our website consider sponsoring a child! ;)

We also have a regularly updated Facebook page that can be found at https://www.facebook.com/HardtHaven
