Icon Processors is a hemp extraction company founded on the philosophy of helping people, and now we need your help during this COVID pandemic. We are helping out our local metro Detroit first responders and hospitals by developing and donating hand sanitizer. The demand is incredible for this product and we need to make sure our heroes are staying safe and protecting others, especially as we face the peak of of the crisis in metro Detroit.
What we have done to date:
In the past two weeks we have created around 500 gallons of hand sanitizer and will be donating a portion of it to the Oakland Emergency Operations Center and we'll donate the remaining to hospitals like Beaumont, Henry Ford and others across the metro Detroit area. We'll share updates and posts of these drop offs that are scheduled throughout this upcoming week.
What we are asking:
We are asking for donations to help us to buy the products to make more hand sanitizer to donate to those in need as we are realizing there are so many more who need help. We have set a goal of raising $25,000, which will allow us to buy supplies for 6 batches of hand sanitizer (around 1,600 gallons). 100% of the donations will go towards purchasing supplies to make and distribute the hand sanitizer.
Every Dollar donated helps us provide sanitizer to 2 first responders and helps to actively save lives:
$15 = 1 gallon of hand sanitizer for 30 people on the front lines
$150 = 10 gallons of hand sanitizer for 300 people
$1500 = 100 gallons of hand sanitizer for 3000 people
The more that is given, the more we can give. We can't predict what we will raise, but we can predict what we can make based on what is given. The impact we could all make together could be huge!
