"Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I am Hamza Abushahla, a 24-year-old Palestinian from Gaza. My beautiful family consists of my parents, three sisters and three brothers. My family and I are suffering from the consequences of a destructive war that left our only house in ruins, which left us with no refuge. My family and I are in great need of your support to rebuild our destroyed house and provide a safe shelter for us.

Just like any young man, I, too, have dreams and hopes for a better life. Not just for me, but for my family as well. Our house was built upon love, with walls that carry nostalgic memories and hopeful dreams, which my father had built with huge effort until the war came to destroy everything.

We haven’t only lost our house, but the company that my older brother owns, Eco Repla. It is a social institution that works on raising environmental awareness through recycling. We have lost our source of income as well and there are no salaries since the war started. In the depths of my heart, hopelessness and pain are what I feel due to what my family and I endure from this terrible war.

The war was totally destructive and it left our only house in ruins. We have lost everything and now we need a new start. I do recognize the challenges that stand in our way but I am determined to rebuild our house, provide shelter for my family and help my siblings continue their education. I cannot do that alone. So I am here today, communicating with family, friends and community to get help.

Through your donations, together we can make this dream true. Every dollar aids in building a better future for me and my family. Without your help, we are stuck in hopelessness, but together we can make hope shine again.
