Hafiz Asad Ali Rashid - Sadaqa Jariya projects

Assalamu Alaykum/Peace be upon you

This fund raising page has been set up by Hafiz Asad Ali Rashid's family. Asad was involved in a
road traffic collision & sadly passed away on the 15th of September 2020.

Asad’s family wish to raise money for good causes on Asads behalf. These are projects Asad was
actively involved in and contributed towards in his lifetime to continue and serve as a sadaqa
jariya (this translates to continuous charity), on his behalf.

Asad was a son, a brother, a friend, a dear uncle and also a primary school teacher at ITPS
Bradford. He was a former student at ITPS in previous years and it was an institution very
close to his heart.

Many will remember Asad by his infectious smile, love for children and willingness to help
those in need. He was passionate about paving the way and creating a brighter future for the
generations to come.

He was known for his easy going nature and as one who rarely turned down an opportunity to
help others.

To continue all the good he did in the short span of life he was blessed with, his family wish
to raise £100,000 to enable the work he’d invested in to continue. This money will be
distributed between Darul Mahmood Masjid, connected to ITPS, where Asad also volunteered to
help with the construction work in his spare time, plus water and poverty relief projects in Africa and Asia.

All donations, big or small, or prayers for him, will be greatly appreciated.

We pray Allah accepts our efforts and raises his status in paradise.
