Haevan's Healing Journey
Donación protegida
At 15 weeks pregnant, Jessica and Brock got the news that they were having a baby girl and that she had Gastroschisis, meaning their baby would be born with her intestines on the outside of her body. At 28 weeks, Jessica was admitted to the hospital for low amniotic fluid. By the grace of God her fluids increased, and she was able to go back home a few days later. After weekly doctors appointments, Haevan Mae Barnhill was born on January 8th, 2024. On January 12th she had her first surgery to put her intestines in her body, and a few days later at one week old Jessica and Brock were able to hold their precious baby girl for the first time. Just three days after surgery Haevan was able to come off the ventilator, and then on the 27th she was able to try her mom's milk for the first time. On Friday, February 9th, after 32 days in the NICU, Haevan got to go home and meet her big brother for the first time. Not even 24 hours later she was in the ER, readmitted to the NICU, and then rushed into emergency surgery. Haevan is the strongest little girl but has a long road of recovery in front of her. Any money raised will go to the Barnhill family, in helping with expenses endured during Haevan's healing journey. As always, prayers are very appreciated as well!
