Medical Fund for Sunny

In January of 2016 Sunny was diagnosed with breast cancer resulting in a double mastectomy and reconstruction  surgery in February 2016. All of this was preceded by a divorce leaving her as a single mother of three beautiful children.The financial strain of everything was more stressful than she had imagined. In the beginning she thought everything would be okay seeing that she had a job and health insurance. However, while taking a leave of absence for recovery she was subjected to only a percentage of her regular pay. All of the bills continued to add up...hospital bills, lab fees, co pays, college tuition for her son, along with rent and other household expenses. Sunny continued to push forward until January of this year. Her health has recently taken another hit, requiring her to have yet another surgery on March 8, 2017. With this being a new year, Sunny has new deductibles to meet again. She has been told that $1200.00 is needing to be paid up front before the surgery can take place. This is only covering the surgeon fees. The fees will continue to add up requiring her to pay out of pocket for the assistant surgeon, anesthesia, and then the hospital. Sunny has not been able to fully recover financially from the previous surgeries she has needed. This next surgery has put yet another financial strain on her and her family. Finances are the the last thing someone should have to worry about when undergoing this type of life-changing event.  This lady is one of the most kind-hearted individuals I have ever met. She spends her time working as a nurse and taking care of others. Her willingness to help others is beyond exemplary. She continues to put others needs before her own despite the daily struggles that she is being faced with.  Sunny has the type of perserverance that each of us should strive for when faced with hardships. I truly admire her for her strength and courageousness. Please help us make this difficult time easier for her and her family. Every little bit will help!!! Thank you all so much!
