Everyone faces tough times, but Tracey (Hult) Burke has gone through more than most people. She lost her parents in her 20s, a tough thing for anyone to go through. On top of that, she’s been raising her kids on her own as a single mom.

Most people find getting up early a challenge, but for nurses like Tracey, those early starts are just part of the job. Imagine having to hit that alarm while battling stage 4 ovarian cancer because there is no other way to pay the bills.

That’s right, she's continuing to work and care for her family pretty much on her own.

Tracey keeps going strong, even though cancer treatment makes her days tough — some days downright awful.
