support family of stroke victim

On March 12 my husband woke up paralyzed. Was rushed to hospital and put into ICU (intensive care) It was determined that during the night while he slept he had a massive stroke to the right side of his brain. He is paralyzed on his left side. He had multi organ failure. And had to be placed on breathing support. He struggled to stay alive. He thank goodness survived and has now stabilized. He underwent multiple rounds of dialysis, and his kidneys now have begun to work on thier own. His liver has began to regenerate. But it is day to day, and can change in an instant. He was our main income. When he had the stroke work told us they had all the paperwork was covered. But now have come to find that his benifits dont cover anything. There is no short term disability, and no income. Nothing. We now have nothing to pay rent or bills or food for our 3 children. We risk loosing a home. Heat. Electricity. Everything. He has to remain in hospital and continue to recover witch is a long lengthy process. He will probably never work again. His thinking and processing has been affected let alone unable to move the left side of his body. We need help. To keep our home. We dont have much family. And they have done what they can. But if we dont get help , he won't have a place to come home to when he gets out of hospital. We never expected to have this happen. He went to sleep one night and our world changed forever.
