Help Tom Beat Cancer!
Beschermde donatie
Hi, This is Tom and he has stage 4 cancer. We are raising money to help with chemo medication and radiation treatments that are not covered by insurance. Any amount that you can donate will help him in his fight to beat cancer!
Tom was diagnosed with stage 4 Malignant scarmossis carcinoma, which is located in his is centralized in his tongue and neck. What is sarcoma? you might ask..
A sarcoma is a type of tumor that develops in connective tissue, such as bone, cartilage or muscle. Malignant sarcoma are very rare (1% of all adult malignancies and about 15% of childhood malignancies). Approximately 14,000 to 15,000 sarcomas are diagnosed in the United States every year (3,000 bone sarcomas and 11,000 to 12,000 soft tissue sarcomas).
Malignant means that the tumor is made of cancer cells, and it can invade nearby tissues. Some cancer cells can move into the bloodstream or lymph nodes, where they can spread to other tissues within the body—this is called metastasis. Currently Toms cancer has spread to his lymph nodes and is aggressive.
Tom has four grandchildren, two daughters, two sons, and countless friends and family. In the summer you can find him on a Sunday with family in the pool or at the bbq making the family meal. He loves cars, movies, his fish tank but most of all his family. We would love nothing more than to see Tom have many more memories with his grandchildren and friends and family. The ONLY way for that to happen is if we reach out to you and ask that you help in any way you can to donate to this fund to get Tom the LIFESAVING chemo that he needs.
The situation is URGENT. We cannot put off this treatment due to the aggressive nature of this cancer. The chemo drug that he needs to save his life is not covered by insurance, so we are asking you to please help share that financial burden with us and get Tom the treatment he needs.
