Maddie's Future

Life is full of unexpected tragedies.  Madison Claire "Maddie" Wasserman is facing just such a tragedy with the loss of her step-dad, aka "Dessert Buddy" Chris Myers.  Chris died suddenly on October 17th.    (Blessedly, Chris will literally live on in others, as his organs have been donated).

Maddie's mom Annie and Chris had been together since Maddie was 4 years old-- she's now 16--- but they were not married.  And like so many, they had yet to plan for life when the other passed.  In other words, there is no will and there is no life insurance--  but there are now questions about how to move forward with Maddie's future education.  

This Go Fund Me has been set up by friends to help alleviate some of the stress that comes from suddenly losing a source of income, especially as it relates to a child's future.  We hope it can act as an immediate source of security for Annie, as well.

Madison will need help through her senior year of high school for all of the fees and expenses that come with that important time of life.  She'll also need help with funding for college.  We're hoping to raise at least $25,000.00 toward that end, understanding the need will likely exceed that amount.  Please contribute, as you see fit.

Many have asked Annie, how they can help.   Those who love them all can think of no better way Chris would appreciate being remembered, than by helping Madison have a successful future and by making sure she and Annie are secure.
