Mission's Trip to Honduras

Hi Family and Friends,
On August 12, 2017 there will be a group of people from Epic Church that will be venturing to Honduras for a week-long trip. I am not good at writing nor asking for help so I'm not exactly sure what to say other than I would love nothing more than to be a part of this team as they board the plane for this life changing experience!
On the trip the team will be assisting in building a home for a family living in poverty. We will lay a cement floor and build walls so that this family has some place other than a dirt shack to call home. The team will also be partnering with a church that has a local center for malnourished children. There will be a one day community event that will not only be for those that attend the center but our team is hoping to reach as many people as possible in the community this day by providing snacks and donations to the local children and also the center itself. What an amazing thing to be a part of!
I have dreamed of going on a missions trip since I was a little girl and as long as I can remember I have spent my time caring for people that I love. In fact most of my close friends and family tell me that I am only happy when helping others. I have also had these same people tell me over and over that I need to do something for myself after several years of missed opportunities I've decided that this is my year and I've made the decision to venture to Honduras! What could be more perfect than helping others and helping myself become all of who God has called me to be at the same time!
Here's the thing though…I can't do it on my own and since we're just shy of two months out I need all the help I can get SO if you've ever talked to me and been one of those people who has said or thought that you wish there was something you could do to help me help myself this is the perfect opportunity I know that to some people even myself to be honest it is unimaginable to be able to raise so much money in just under two months but I’m trusting God in this and know that with the support of the best group of friends and family a girl could ever have I'll make it!
The trip will cost approximately 2,500. This will cover everything from airfare to lodging to things we'll need while on the trip .
If you feel in your heart this is something you want to help make happen there are several ways you can support me in this journey!
1. Donate (any amount at all moves me one step closer to the goal I have to reach)
2. Share!! Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Share! Share! Share!
3. Pray for me!! It's hard for me to even try to explain in words how much this trip would mean to me and how sure I am that I'm supposed to go but I would appreciate prayers for protection, peace, opened doors, and of course the funds needed!
I cannot thank you all enough and look forward to sharing stories of changed lives (mine included) upon our return!
