Adopt A Family is a group of anglers that throughout the year to raise funds for families in need during the holidays. In our 12th year, we have helped over 15 families enjoy a holiday season that otherwise would have been filled with fear and worry of no food, lights, or heat during Christmas - presents being furthest from their mind.

Through churches, sheriff departments, and even judges, we find the hardest hit families to help. We started by helping families with a couple hundred dollars to buy presents for their young children, and now we have been able to provide multiple families with up to five thousand dollars. One year we were able to provide two families with $5k, family one was a grandfather raising his grandson and was spending all his money on cancer treatments, barely keeping food on the table and the heat on. That same year our second family, a young father working for the Dept. Of Transportation was hit by a tractor trailer while working on the highway. Having no life insurance, his widow and baby had no money.

It's never hard to find a family in dire straits. Our mission each year is to simply help the hardest hit to enjoy the holidays and maybe take the worry away for just a little while.
