Srila Gurudev’s festival Pavilion

Please support building Krishna Cow Sanctuary and New Srivas Angam’s much needed Kirtan and festival pandal pavilion. The pavilion is needed for Srila Gurudeva’s Annual Appearance day Festival every January in beautiful Hawaii!
Everyone is invited to attend no matter where you live.
Just like what has happened in Badger with yearly wonderful Harikatha festivals, By Krsna’s kind arrangement Hawaii has also manifested the yearly Vyaspuja celebration for Srila Gurudev- Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayan Gosvami.
By Krsna’s mercy the last vyaspuja festival was a wonderful success! With preachers headed by our beautiful Umadidi, Padmanabha Maharaj, Bhagavat Maharaj, Sajjan Maharaj, Brajanath Prabhu, and others, devotees from all over the world came to celebrate. We had wonderful Harikatha, ecstatic kirtan, beautiful drama plays, dances, and ecstatic yummy Prasad- vegetarian feasts featuring the wonderful milk and milk products from our protected cows and farm fresh grown produce!
These festivals are so wonderful and they are such a great opportunity for all of us to serve in so many ways. So many of you have done so much to get these festivals going!
We are dedicated to putting these festivals up for the pleasure of Srila Gurudev and the vaishnavas every year!
There was no rain during the 6 days that we celebrated. (Actually forecasts said there would be rain and storms, and this is normal in Hawaii to rain very often) The night after it ended, rain fell and the next morning we were shocked to see the tent had collapsed down. Luckily, most of the equipment, instruments and things under the tent were not damaged.
That is why for this upcoming festival, we are making our best efforts to build a lovely sturdy Pandal pavilion, with a stage, with which we can host many more festivals to come. Also for the entire year we will use the pavilion to put on many more festivals, Cow care workshops, yoga workshops, preaching work, and also the cows and devotees can use it as shelter.
Construction of this Pavilion will be very sturdy with hurricane strappings and anchored cemented posts and a strong metal roofing. It will start at a humble 24’x24’ but is designed to be easily be expanded.
Most of the money will be for the building materials as many devotees are volunteering for labor (headed by our experienced and expert carpenter which we do need to pay).
We have started construction with what little money we have saved up, but we are asking for your help to complete it. This isn’t just our festival it’s your festival! It’s Srila Gurudev’s festival and we are just servants trying to offer him something. We hope to get the construction done ASAP so that we can move on to beautification,decoration, painting, planting etc
