** Call for prayer and support for our dear Guruatma & SatKartar Khalsa.**
Many of you know Guruatma....she has helped SO many through her coaching and uplifting people with Chronic & Critical Ilnnesses. In addition, her innate nature is to serve, nurture, support, love everyone. (I could go on & on about my personal gratitude for her presence in my life).
SatKartar is a talented sculpture artist and likely, much of his raw materials are ruined after this flood.
Guruatma is deaf. Sat Kartar has major chronic back problems.
This is the 2nd time within 2 years that their house commpletely flooded.
Despite spending many thousands on flood protection engineering on their property, it happened again.
The rain is relentless during this storm.
Not only have they lost personal items but the entire walls and floors will have to be gutted and replaced due to deadly mold - again. They may lose their house.
They will lose 100s of work hours in order to focus on this emergency for many, many months to come - again.
In addition, the emotional toll is debilitating. I observed and helped them with this process the first time....I know they would deeply appreciate ANY kind of support. Let them know that friends and family are with them and for them - completely selflessly:
- provide meals (when we can drive in Houston)
- provide financial resources that will help with the long-term needs they will face
At the present moment, they are unavailable to reach - too busy dealing with the flooding and cannot respond to phone calls and texts.
I am available to coordinate meals, anything else they need. Please email me directly.

I am Satmitar Khalsa, I also live in the Houston area and consider them my family. It hurts to see them suffer and my intention is to help them - I wish I had thought to do this the first time they flooded.
