Guatemala Housing 2

Guatemala is one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere.  49.8% of children under 5 are undernourished and many live in substandard housing with dirt floors.  This coming January we have 18 students coming down who would like to help two of these families by building houses for them.  We will be giving you information on the families soon.  The houses are concrete block with cement floors, a shower and a flush toilet.   Each house will cost $2300, the remaining money.  If we can reach the goal of $6,000 we can also provide an energy efficient stove and a water filter (and cover transportation costs).  Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.   You can help by making a donation or by sharing this with others.
