Paul Grum passed away suddenly on January 1, 2021 leaving behind his wife, Kate, and children. Paul was a selfless and generous person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. In order to continue his legacy, this GoFundMe campaign has been created to ensure a bright future for his family.
Paul was best known for his smile, jokes, and sharing his honest opinion. He was a well-loved member of his community and gave freely of his time and friendship. He was an avid hockey fan and roller hockey player, and he shared this passion with his sons. Paul was a loving, involved father. Whether it was practicing hockey, going camping, or simply playful rough-housing, it was obvious to all who knew him how much he enjoyed the time spent with his children.
Funds raised in this GoFundMe will primarily be for the education of Paul's minor children. Whether for school supplies, tutors, school activities or future education tuition, your donations will contribute in a meaningful way. Some of your donations may also be used in the short-term for monthly bills as Kate now has an increased burden from losing the family’s primary source of income.

As the campaign organizer, brother to Kate and Uncle to her children, I have been authorized to withdraw your donated funds on the family’s behalf. I will invest a majority of the funds for the future education of the Grum children. The rest will go to an account to help pay for monthly bills for the family.
