Hello! Many people I am contacting for this campaign know me and some do not. I am Teresa Wojtowicz. I am a pan-denominational spiritual guide or … minister. Basically, I minister to people of varied beliefs. Often, I am one who is called on for folks who have no formal religious or spiritual community.
One will also find me doing the work of a shamanic healer. Some who come to see me call me a shaman. This practice is too complex to describe in a short paragraph. Let’s just say that I work to help restore balance to, not only people, but to all beings residing in our midst.
My practice, Willow Stick Ceremonies & Healing Arts has two missions. These are to provide services for people to heal spiritual and emotional wounds and, also, to mark significant life events or transitions. Part of our mission is to provide these services for all people, no matter what spiritual path they may be walking.
We also believe in education through teaching healing methods to others. Someone would not have to continue receiving healing services from us, if they learn how to work on themselves or others. So, we teach and teach and teach.
One way I can be of service to my local community, is to study as much as I am able. I study other cultures, healing methods, ceremonial practices, etc. Focusing on learning helps me remain teachable. If I thought I had nothing else to learn, how could I work to heal and teach others?
So, I have decided to go to a place virtually unknown to me. I will be volunteering in a village located in Peru. There is much to do for, and with, people who are living in developing countries. I have found a community in which to be of service.
My volunteer service may include care of livestock, tending fields, caring for children, building necessary structures or anything else needed of me by the community. I will spend two weeks staying with a host family.
In order to further my own spiritual development, it is my goal to meet and train with a traditional Peruvian shaman. If a paqokuna, as the shamans are called in this region, is willing to accept me as an apprentice, my practice will deepen exponentially.
My immersion into the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical world of this village, will allow me to bring a valuable knowledge back to my own community. So, if you are able to contribute, even a small amount, to this experience, you will help me bring any skills I learn back to Michigan for the benefit of all. In loving service…. Teresa
