Growing the Gersons: We’re Adopting!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story, as the time has come where we feel we need to open up and let it be heard. We hope it inspires you as much as we feel that God is moving in our lives at this moment. After being married for 10 years, we’ve been trying to grow our family for quite some time, and we’re so excited to announce that we’re taking our first steps down the road to ADOPTION!
The average adoption costs $20,000-$40,000 and as we feel we are being led down this path, we know that God will provide all the necessary measures to accomplish His goal. We started down the path of infertility two and a half years ago and have met with numerous doctors, acupuncturists, and fertility specialists around the world. As most of you know, living in New York City is expensive. Then adding on the extra costs, it has made this process extremely challenging, both emotionally and financially, to try and start our family. After three failed IUI attempts and one unsuccessful IVF transfer, where we learned that it is very difficult for us to create healthy embryos (we only had one viable embryo and started with the possibility of 10), as well as it almost being impossible for us to conceive naturally, we feel that God is leading us down the road of adoption. We need help from our friends and family to make it possible for us to bring our baby home.
Our goal is to raise $28,000. We’re hoping that if we can get 1,120 people to each donate $25 dollars in 30 days, we’ll reach that goal. If you feel led to give and be apart of our journey and donate, GOD BLESS YOU! (No pressure) Also, no donation is too small! However, if you are unable to give, we need your support and prayers during this exciting adventure that we are about to begin, and we hope that our story inspires you. We’re so grateful for all of the support and love we receive from each of you, it means so much to us. We know God is in the business of performing miracles, as we have seen Him provide in our lives above and beyond what we could ever imagine. We are praying for the child that God has already chosen for us. This child will be our miracle and add to the many blessings that He has already placed in our lives.
