Greenwood Hills Playground Upgrade!

Greenwood Hills Camp and Conference Center has a playground in front of the family cabins, and it needs upgraded.

Presently, the 15+ year old playground has:

- old wooden benches

- some plastic equipment that has become worn down and permanently discolored

- trees that could be removed in the actual play area

- unnecessary and unsafe driveway down the middle of the split play area

A few parents of children that attend Greenwood have become burdened to facilitate an upgrade which could benefit many young families who enjoy the ideal playground location near the ball field, cabins, and tabernacle!

Our aim, with the money raised, would be to:

- remove the older pieces of equipment

- remove trees in the actual play area

- level the play area ground and put in new playground surface material

- purchase and install two large pieces of playground equipment (one for older kids, one for younger kids)

- work on fencing to protect the children as they play near cars driving by.

We will plan to do this work in Spring 2024, so feel free to pass this link around, the rest of 2023, to help meet our goal!

If we are unable to raise enough for this project over the next 12 months, these funds will be used to address some of the playground improvements or a different project at GWH.
