The Houston Eagles Nest and the Green Legion have been friends for 15 years so we are raising funds to help out our fellow Eagles brothers and sisters in Houston, Texas.
Hurricane Harvey brought historic heavy flooding to the Houston metro area and southeast Texas. Many members have property loss and will need assistance in the days ahead. Today, the sun is shining in most of the Houston area as the storm moves east. Tomorrow, the cleanup will begin and the damage will be assessed. As we all know when a disaster happens, it takes a long lenght of time to get life back to normal and the personal losses create a strain on funds. Your fellow Eagles fans in the Houston area needs your help.
We have more and more members reporting in with great loss - homes, cars, personal property, etc. As the flood recedes, we will see more damage and loss. Roads all around Houston are still closed for most of the city and many people are stuck in their homes with no place to go to receive goods. Please give what you can and assist those in need.
A great big thank you to Quimby and The Green Legion for assisting the Houston Eagles Nest during this time of need. We will make sure the donations will go to the members who are in desperate need.
