The Greener Growth Trailer Has Been Swiped!

Our Greener Growth trailer was stolen on February 7th 2020.
It wasn't a big one and it wasn't new or anything, but it was a vital part of our “kit”.
I was given a grant when I first started Greener Growth in 2013 by the Lottery funded “UnLtd” . They helped pay for fuel to our first few voluntary projects and helped me buy the trailer – as I was using my old soft top car as a skip! It was getting filled with manure (in bags, I hasten to add) compost, logs, donated tools, plants & trees, so the trailer was an absolute joy.
It made life so much easier in those early days, and more than anything was a real symbol of “triumph over adversity” – a helping hand that all those working to make a difference need one in a while.
Recently, it has been used to help transport Heritage Fruit Trees, manure & mulch to our various sites, plus the green willow planted in the dormant season to help create low cost green architecture – especially in our schools gardens – where we can plant tunnels, green willow story telling chairs and even out-door classrooms.
So we have lots of these projects to deliver – especially over these next 6 weeks.
If you think you could help us buy a new or second hand one – we would be so grateful! You would be helping us to help others Nurture Nature.
If we raise the maximum amount we will buy a second hand one that tips up – which would help take the back-breaking work out of shovelling the mulch/manure out!
Hopefully we can turn this rather sad event into another way of conquering adversity, and working together to help each other. Community is the key! Thanks for your time/thoughts/contributions.
