Greener Cleaner - Adopt A First Responder

The Greener Cleaner is so proud to have been a part of so many of your families for such an incredibly long time.  More than 25 years ago, we became the very first 100% Wet-Cleaning operation in the United States, with the mission to bring consumers an alternative to harsh chemical cleaners.

Part of our mission is to show that cleaning CAN be done without harsh chemicals, but the other part is equally as important:  to prove that businesses can and should act responsibly and conscientiously, by putting community and people first before profits. 

As part of that belief system, we DO NOT believe in handouts to businesses and corporate welfare.  However, as with other small businesses, we are faced with an unprecedented challenge due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and because of this our incredibly hard-working team members have had to endure reduced hours and pay.

How can we achieve two goals at once?  How can we support those most in need of help at this extraordinary time, and also support our loyal, hardworking employees with more hours?

Here is how:

Effective immediately, we have decided to launch an "Adopt a First Responder" program!

Our first responders are on the front lines AS WE SPEAK.  We've all read the stores that doctors and nurses are being called to work 12+ hour shifts, sometimes non-stop.  We also have firefighters, police officers,  EMT's/Ambulance workers, and others putting themselves in harms way.

Those hospital workers need scrubs, lab coats, and other items cleaned and sterilized.  They also need help doing simple tasks such as their regular laundry - who can work 12-hour shifts daily and then face a pile of laundry at home?

Let's give them a hand!

Starting today, we're launching this page so that we can help our first responders and help our own staff keep working!

Donate whatever you can, and we'll take 100% of what is donated and use it to credit the accounts for first responders.  First responders will be given credit in $100 increments as donations come in.  We will first verify employment as a first responder to those who are given free credits.

Calling All First Responders!

We're also putting out the call to first responders!  Do you need help with your cleaning & laundry needs?  Please forward this to any first responder in the entire Chicagoland region - we're here to help!  We pickup and deliver from Round Lake down to Hyde Park, and all the way west to Lake Zurich, Schaumburg and Bolingbrook.
