Green Riders Good Deeds On Bikes- Europe

We are the Green Riders doing Good Deeds On Bikes cycling across 10 countries in Europe, summer of 2019. We will start our ride in France on the Atlantic Coast and cycle to the Black Sea in Romania, leaving a path of Goodness, Greenness and Kindness everywhere we go!
These funds will support us in:
•Starting/Assisting gardens in front yards, schools, parks, or churches in every country we ride through.
•Planting native wildflowers and fruit trees.
•Volunteering our time on farms, building eco structures, setting up compost bins, and collecting rainwater
•Collaborating with non profits who share the same values and mission we do.
•Randomly planting seeds, picking up rubbish and beautifying all communities we ride through.
As we cross Europe we will be promoting a conscious-sustainable way of living and leaving every place better than we found it. We will be helping people, communities and organizations grow their own food and promote their sustainable projects. We will be planting appropriate wildflower seeds in public spaces (parks, roadsides) to help attract pollinators.
In the summer of 2017, 48 Green Riders cycled across the US rescuing 5,000 lbs. of food from dumpsters, and cleaned up over 20,000 pieces of trash. With the help of our GoFundMe donors, we were able to plant 90 fruit trees and thousands of wildflowers and vegetable seeds across the country.
This year we need your help to continue spreading goodness across the globe! The funds we raise will be used to buy seeds, seedlings, fruit trees, gardening materials (soil, compost, materials for raised beds). Funds may also be used to help hosts across the continent.
All cyclists are responsible for their own personal needs.
This is a grassroots movement and ALL FUNDS will be going directly to the cause.
Similar to the US ride, all excess money raised will be used to continue the Good Deeds On Bikes movement, spreading our message of goodness, greenness and kindness!
