Murder Mystery at Turglass Abbey

Tax deductible

Thank you for visiting this fundraiser! Your support will go directly towards paying the daily costs to keep Green Gables going and any extra funds to help with the much needed refurbishment. Green Gables needs expensive repairs and stabilization, but it will be worth it to save this amazing piece of history.  For a $10 (or more) donation, you will be sent a thank you and a private link to view the 48 minute film (including a 10 minute intermission). The perfect film to enjoy with family and friends or to show at your own murder mystery party!

Lord Wellsford and his new bride are tragically
killed in a carriage accident on the 3rd day Lord Wellsford and his new bride are tragically killed in a carriage accident on the 3rd day of their honeymoon. Involved parties have been summoned to Turglas Abbey, his estate, for the reading of the will.

Officials suspect foul play, as it was believed Lord Welllsford was drugged and that is what caused him to drive the carriage off the bluff. . It was unknown if Lady Wellsford was also drugged as her body washed out to sea after hitting the jagged rocks off the bluff. Lord Wellsford’s barrister will preside over the reading of the will, but feels that they should first share a drink and go through introductions.

Before the reading can start, tragedy strikes – one of the guests is found murdered. Who could have killed this guest and why? How is this related to the murders of Lord and Lady Wellsford?

Join us at Turglas Abbey to meet all the characters and see the action unfold. Follow through all the rooms of the Victorian QueenAnn home and solve the mystery while staying safe and comfortable in your own home. Better still, host a socially distant dinner and invite family and friends to join you in solving the Murder at Turglas Abbey!

Film Trivia: This film was rehearsed over six Zoom Virtual rehearsals with the cast. We met on a Saturday in 2021 at 2pm and shot a total of 13 hours, over two days. The film was edited in 4 days (nearly 60 hour). With a zero budget, as this film is a fundraiser for GreenGables.org, the film was released over a zoom event, fitting, don't you think? We hope you will enjoy it! Who do you think did it?
