The worlds greatest mom needs help

My mother, who has just turned 80, gave up her acting career to raise me and my sister.  She still works as a CNA for the elderly, many of whome are actually younger than her.  For fifteen years she's needed surgery to fix her descending bladder and an ovarian cyst. She's been putting it off due to her need to work and her intent on not being a burden to anyone.  She's got a heart of gold, and wants charity from no one.  But she's now in so much pain she can't walk,
Her biggest worry is being a burden on the family. She's been a selfless christian soul for as long as I've known her.

Being as she's 80, the surgery is risky, and will result in a lot of extra expenses. Insurance will cover most of it, but there will be a lot of other things involved not to mention my mother will most likely have to retire from working at this point for at least a month. 

I am doing everything I can to help her get through this surgery. I can't pay for all the extra things myself.  She's more scared of what she's going to lay on the family than her own safety. She's always been that way. 

I want to surprise her without worry when she wakes up from surgery. Let her know that others care about her too.
