Hi, we’re Lucy and Holly, two best friends taking on the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere on June 15th to swim 5k for an incredible cause — Weston Park Cancer Charity.

My grandad was cared for by Weston Park during his radiotherapy treatment from late 2024 into early 2025. The support and compassion they showed him and our family were nothing short of amazing. They arranged daily transport to make sure he could get to his appointments safely and comfortably. This support meant the world to our family during a challenging time.

Now, we want to give back and help others who rely on this vital charity. By swimming 5K in this challenging open-water event, we’re raising funds to support Weston Park’s life-changing services and ensure they can continue their incredible work.
