Hello. My name is Jarrett Rainhard and I've been blessed to have been able to spend the last 18 years with Nils Johanson (although most people know him as Mark Elliot.)

Nils passed away on January 11th, 2019 after a very short battle with pneumonia. He had developed septicemia that shut down his internal organs. His funeral was held shortly thereafter, on January 15th, in Niagara Falls, ON, where we had been living for about three years. It was less than three weeks after his 65th birthday.

I'm holding a memorial/celebration of life in his honour on June 15th, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church in Toronto (1585 Yonge St.) downstairs in the same room in which he held his People Helping People groups.

I am thankful to the City of Niagara Falls, as it paid for his funeral and burial, however, it will not cover the purchase of a gravestone. The cost of a gravestone is far more than I can afford, which is why I'm asking for your help.

Please help me to honour Nils and get him a suitable gravestone. He helped so many people during his life, I'm now asking for your help to memorialize this wonderful man.
