In June of 2015 my wife, Holly, and I will be traveling to Tanzania; a trip of a lifetime. We will be traveling with Clarinets for Conservation, a group that engages and empowers the community through the creative powers of music education, along with the conservation of natural resources.
Holly and I will both be working with the students of Korongoni Secondary School. I will be teaching general music, as well as trumpet to those students. I will also be working with the Police Academy in Moshi, Tanzania, as a brass instructor and repair specialist. Holly will be teaching the students, along with the community, a first-aid class and a nutrition class that focusses on local produce.
As you would expect, this trip will be quite expensive. Our expenses include C4C tuition, plane tickets, visas, vaccinations, and spending for food. We would love for you to be apart of our journey and you can do this through a monitory donation. When you give to us, we are able to give and share our knowledge and fortune with those of Tanzania.
