In Loving Memory David Wainwright

Our dear Grandpa David is with Jesus. What a legacy he has left behind. A servant, a husband, a father, a friend, a brother, a son, a grandpa, a christian and a hero! No words can adequately express the incredible impact that he had on everyone's life that he encountered. He was a kind, compassionate man.  Grandpa really cared, and was so genuine, and loving. His strong peaceful presence was a comfort in times of need.  He was always ready with an encouraging word, scripture, prayer and a warm hug! He truly cared about people and was a devoted servant in his church. If you needed something, he was there! His life truly was patterned after Jesus' and he constantly put others first before himself. His love for his wife was the sweetest thing to see! You would think they were still honeymooners the way he kissed her! I will miss those moments. Grandpa and Mawmaw were constantly going on road trips and grand adventures! I know they had a good ol' time.

We loved going on walks with him (and his cool walking stick), hiking up the mountains, going on outreach together and drinking lots of coffee with him :) We'll miss his phone calls and texts, his encouraging words, his hugs and his voice. I could go on forever.  

He leaves an enormous void behind. With heavy hearts and tear filled eyes we mourn the loss of our beloved Grandpa but we know he is with Jesus, and happy in heaven! We are so thankful for his legacy and comforted by the knowledge that one day we will see him again.

The money we raise will go to help Barbara Wainwright with any financial bills.  I hope we can partner together and bless her in this time of sadness. As a family we are truly grateful for all of the help, support and prayers.
