Love for Kenzosan and His Family

Dear STF and GPA Grads, Parents, and Our Community,
If you know Kenzo Tanaka, you know that this man has a huge heart filled with love for all those who enter his life.
Kenzosan recently found out that his mother, who lives in Nagoya, Japan, has been diagnosed with lung cancer that has slowly spread to the rest of her body. At this stage, doctors say that surgery and radiation are no longer a viable treatment option for her. One of her wishes: "I want to see my granddaughters one more time and show them my hometown before my passing."
Given her condition and the limited time she has left, Kenzosan is planning a trip with his whole family, wife, Anisa, and two daughters, Unja(11), and Yoshika (8). They’ll stay for 11 days, from August 21-31st, visiting Grandmother in Nagoya and then traveling to her hometown, Yamaguchi, together.
Planning a trip so quickly will be rather costly with flights around $6,000 for all 4 of them.
Thus, on behalf of a community that loves the Tanaka family, we're putting together a fundraiser to support their visit with the goal of raising $6,000 to cover the cost of their flights by August 17th.
Over the years, many of us (or your children, or people you know) have been at the receiving end of this man's love, heart, and dedication.
This is a chance to return that in any way you can.
We hope that this can be a meaningful trip that brings closure, healing, and memories Kenzosan, Anisa, and their daughters can treasure always.
Please feel free to share this link!
Sincerely,
Tasnah Moyer, Soogin Ogden, Irvin Granstrom, Harumi Miyakawa, and Mike and Adonia Hentrich
