Grace's Accessible Van

Grace is a warm and caring 18-year-old high school senior.  She loves her family, her dog, the Red Sox, Steph Curry, books and summer.  She is an intelligent young woman who loves to learn and is looking forward  to college.  In addition to all the challenges which students face as they finish high school and start college, Grace has additional challenges which come with having cerebral palsy.  She uses a wheelchair, but her family does not have an appropriate vehicle to transport her chair.  This means that there are many situations in which Grace must use a walker which severely limits where she can go and what she can do.  Using her walker for more than short distances is exhausting.  A wheelchair van would be life-changing for Grace.  On a recent outing, she told a family friend, "I'd be happy to stay longer if I had my wheelchair, but using my walker is too tiring."  
A used wheelchair van recently became available which would work well for Grace and her chair, but even a used van with all the right equipment is quite expensive. Please help Grace gain the freedom she needs to move forward in her life by contributing to the purchase of this van. For those of you who can help..we are forever grateful!
