The Grace Pumpkin Parade is a Halloween-themed community event, which supports the mission of Grace Smith House.

Since 1981, Grace Smith House has worked empower survivors of domestic violence to rebuild their lives. We provide a 24 hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, support, counseling, advocacy, prevention education and more in Dutchess County, NY.

Share our fundraising page with family and friends to help us raise money and support our efforts to make home a safe place.

All proceeds from the event benefit Grace Smith House programs.

WHY I TRICK OR TREAT FOR GRACE SMITH HOUSE

I have been participating in the Grace Smith Pumpkin Parade since its inception. As the Hudson Valley Halloween Queen, I feel it’s my duty to help banish poltergeist activity in our community. Grace Smith House is a valued service to local men, women and children in need. No one should every feel fear in their own home. People are often blind to vengeful spirits they cannot see. Having been witness to domestic violence, I can tell you first hand — it’s scarier than any horror movie you will ever see. This frightfully fun event creates awareness for domestic violence in a way that is fun and friendly. If with the wave of my wand, I can lift the shadows from one person or family, I have done my job. Raising money for GSH is a small effort that reaps great rewards.

and werewolves are perfecting their howls. What's all the excitement about? The Grace Pumpkin Parade!
We're casting a spell throughout the Hudson Valley, beckoning friends, families, schools, marching bands,
clubs, teams, college societies, troops, organizations, local businesses and other non-profits to join us!
