Help Ugandan become a Yoga Teacher
Donation protected
The Peace Corps Yoganda Project aims at introducing yoga into Uganda. Once a week, a free community class is held at The Mpambara Cox Foundation (MCF), a Ugandan-run organization that develops sustainable social programs to help alleviatepoverty in Uganda.
The program had seen a lot of success and now we are looking to make it sustainable. We are trying to raise funds to send a promising yoga student, teacher, father of 3 and community leader, Biryomumeisho Alex, to yoga teacher training.
This April, Africa Yoga Project is holding a 200hr yoga teacher training in Nairobi, Kenya. We hoping to send Alex to receive technical training and represent The Peace Corps Yoganda Project. This is a great opportunity to bring yoga to southwest Uganda and make it sustainable after Peace Corps leave. So exciting!
Any contribution to the project is appreciated. Thank you to those who have already contributed to help buy yoga mats and thank you to those who contribute for Alex. Namaste.
