Help Kamari Battle Cancer

Kamari Sturdivant is a sweet baby boy who was born Nov. 14, a few weeks early. After 2 weeks in the NICU he came home in time to enjoy the holidays with his parents, Sierra and Tyquan. Just after Christmas, his mom discovered an unusual lump on his leg. After consulting with his pediatrician, they brought him immediately to the hospital. MRIs and CT scans were done and it was determined that this little fighter was not yet done with his battle. He has a large cancerous tumor in his leg that has live tissue and blood in it. Pathology has not returned to even determine the type of sarcoma but chemo was begun to try to shrink the tumor so it can be removed. The future prognosis is still cloudy and likely will require trips to Boston to see specialists. We would love to be able to support this young family on this long and stressful journey by providing them with funds they can use to offset costs not covered by insurance, such as travel expenses and to help with time away from work. All funds raised will go directly to Kamari's parents for them to spend as needed.
