NHS Arts/Stage Restorations

In 1996 when I graduated, budgets were being cut left and right.  Mr. Holland's Opus had just come out.  I remember thinking, there is no way that this could really happen.  We (all of us) would never let the performing arts disappear in our schools!   Who would we be?  How would we express ourselves  if  we didn't have that outlet?  Voices and Counterpoint's were the elite audition show choirs at the high school.  As of now Counterpoint's is an after school "club."  There has been talk for a long time about not having a musical.   We are beginning small.  Baby steps!!  The stage needs serious improvements!  Please consider donating anything you can to help us move forward!  With that being said there are others  that can be called to duty!  Please share this story with others!  Anyone else who has memories of being on this stage or seeing performances on this stage should know!  Please donate!  Please share!  #Vikingpride #Strongschoolstrongcommunity #Eatlocal
